All about the Kedarnath & Badrinath.

Char Dham, where the beauty of nature meets the divinity of spirituality. This Do Dham yatra covers the sacred shrines of Kedarnath and Badrinath in Uttarakhand, taking you through Guptkashi, the trek to Kedarnath Temple, the drive to Badrinath via Joshimath, and Rishikesh – the World Capital of Yoga – before returning to Haridwar.

  1. Day 1 Arrival Haridwar - Guptkashi

    On arrival at Haridwar, greeting from driver and proceed to Guptkashi, en route visiting Devprayag, the sacred confluence of the Alaknanda and Bhagirathi rivers. On arrival, check in to hotel / Swiss tents. Guptkashi is located 47 km from Kedarnath and holds religious importance with ancient temples like Vishwanath Temple and Ardhnareshwar Temple. Overnight stay at Guptkashi.

  2. Day 2 Guptkashi - Gaurikund - Kedarnath

    Early morning, check out and drive to Gaurikund (35 km). From Sonprayag, transfer by jeep to Gaurikund at your own cost as vehicles are restricted beyond this point by local authorities. Trek to Kedarnath Temple (19 km on foot, palki/horse available at extra cost). Kedarnath Temple, built in the 8th century AD by Adi Guru Shankaracharya, is over 1000 years old and houses a conical lingam.

  3. Day 3 Kedarnath - Gaurikund - Guptkashi

    After darshan and pooja, trek back to Gaurikund (19 km) and enjoy lunch there. Drive to Guptkashi (35 km) and check in for overnight stay at hotel/camp.

  4. Day 4 Guptkashi - Badrinath

    After breakfast, check out and drive toward Badrinath via Joshimath (220 km, 7-8 hrs). On arrival, check in to the hotel, rest, and proceed for Darshan at Badrinath Temple, one of the four main shrines cradled between the Nar and Narayan mountain ranges along the Alaknanda River. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

  5. Day 5 Badrinath - Joshimath - Rudraprayag

    Morning Darshan at Badrinath Temple, followed by breakfast. Visit local attractions including Mana Village, Vyas Gufa, Ganesh Gufa and Mata Murti Temple. In the afternoon, check out and drive to Rudraprayag via Joshimath and Karanprayag (165 km, 5-6 hrs). Check in and overnight stay at Rudraprayag.

  6. Day 6 Rudraprayag - Rishikesh - Haridwar

    Drive to Rishikesh (160 km, 5-6 hrs), the World Capital of Yoga, and visit attractions including Ram Jhula and Laxman Jhula. Continue driving to Haridwar, where you will be dropped at your desired destination such as your hotel or the Haridwar Railway Station.
