Nagaland, one of the most fascinating states of Northeast India, is a land blessed with vibrant culture, colorful festivals, breathtaking landscapes and warm hospitality. Known as the Land of Festivals, this trip covers Kohima, the Hornbill Festival site at Kisama Village, the heritage village of Tuophema, and Khonoma – India first Green Village – offering a perfect blend of scenic beauty and rich tradition.

  1. Day 1 Arrival at Dimapur - Transfer to Kohima

    Guest arrival and pickup at either Dimapur airport or railway station, followed by transfer to Kohima, the capital of Nagaland. Hotel check-in and rest for the night. Overnight stay in Kohima.

  2. Day 2 Kohima Local Trip - Kisama Village (Hornbill Festival Site)

    After breakfast, set out for a day trip covering Kohima War Cemetery, a poignant memorial for World War II soldiers, the Kohima Museum, and Mary Help of Christians Cathedral church. In the evening, visit Kisama Village, home to the famous Hornbill Festival. Overnight stay in Kohima.

  3. Day 3 Kohima Local Trip - Touphema Tourist Village Tour

    After breakfast, visit Touphema Tourist Village, one of the ancient heritage villages of Nagaland and a wonderful recreation of a traditional Angami Naga village, known as the heritage village of Nagaland. Overnight stay in Kohima.

  4. Day 4 Khonoma - India First Green Village

    After breakfast, visit Khonoma, often described as a ”warrior village” known for its fierce resistance during the British colonial period, and India first Green Village. In the evening, explore the local market and cafes. Overnight stay in Kohima.

  5. Day 5 Kohima to Dimapur

    After breakfast, check out and transfer to Dimapur, checking in to your hotel. Visit the Kachari Ruins, a heritage site symbolizing the great Ahom invasion, with its beige mushroom-domed pillars, and the Diezephe Craft Village for wood carving, bamboo and cane handicrafts. In the evening, shop at Dimapur Hongkong Market. Overnight stay in Dimapur.

  6. Day 6 Departure

    After breakfast, pack up and check out from the hotel, then transfer to Dimapur airport / railway station for your onward journey.
