Madhya Pradesh, the Heart of India, is home to the cultural and spiritual heritage of almost every religion, with innumerable monuments, intricately carved temples, forts and palaces dotted across the state. This trip covers the majestic Gwalior Fort, the palaces and temples of Orchha, the UNESCO World Heritage temples of Khajuraho, and a thrilling jeep safari at Bandhavgarh National Park, before ending at the marble rocks and Dhuandhar Falls of Bhedaghat.

  1. Day 1 Arrival at Gwalior

    Arrival at Gwalior Airport/Railway Station and move to your hotel. After check-in, explore the iconic Gwalior Fort, known for its ancient inscriptions, palaces like Man Mandir and Gujari Mahal, and the world second-oldest record of ”zero.” Visit Tansen Ka Makbara and the Majestic Sun Temple. Evening light and sound show. Overnight stay in Gwalior.

  2. Day 2 Gwalior - Datia - Jhansi - Orchha

    After breakfast, check out and proceed to Orchha, visiting Jhansi Fort and Datia Palace en route. Datia Palace is a stunning 7-story structure blending Mughal and Rajput architecture. Jhansi Fort, built in 1613, reflects Bundela craftsmanship. On arrival, check in and explore Orchha local sightseeing including forts and temples. Overnight stay at Orchha.

  3. Day 3 Orchha Sightseeing - Khajuraho

    After breakfast, check out and visit the Orchha Fort Complex, Jahangir Mahal, Raja Mahal, Sheesh Mahal and Ram Raja Temple. After sightseeing, transfer to Khajuraho, check in to your hotel, and relax. Overnight stay in Khajuraho.

  4. Day 4 Khajuraho Sightseeing

    After breakfast, visit the Western and Eastern Temples, a UNESCO World Heritage Site built by the Chandela dynasty (950-1050 AD), including the Kandariya Mahadev Temple. Also visit Raneh Falls and the Ken Gharial Sanctuary. Overnight stay in Khajuraho.

  5. Day 5 Khajuraho - Bandhavgarh

    After breakfast, check out and transfer to Bandhavgarh (6-7 hrs). Check in at the hotel and relax, enjoying a nature walk in the evening. Dinner and overnight stay at Bandhavgarh.

  6. Day 6 Bandhavgarh - Bhedaghat - Jabalpur

    Early morning or afternoon jeep safari at Bandhavgarh National Park, a Tiger Reserve home to leopards, deer and the Bengal tiger. Afterward proceed to Bhedaghat and enjoy boating between the marble rocks, famous for the Dhuandhar Falls. Transfer to Jabalpur, check in and relax. Overnight stay in Jabalpur.

  7. Day 7 Departure

    After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to Jabalpur railway station/airport, heading back home with a plethora of memories from the heart of Incredible India.
